2011 Weeping Willow Race Reports

The 2011 team went to race Willowdale State Forest in Ipswich, MA. The location is quickly becoming a favorite amongst the racers who have experienced it and it’s only a short drive from Boston! The course had severe rain for the prior week but it dried out enough in the two days prior. Still we had some slick roots and some mud to contend with – but that’s a true mountain biking experience!

The elite team is sad to see the season close BUT what a spectacular season it has been. Kristen upgrades to Cat1, Ben upgrades to Cat1, Victoria dominates the Cat3 field and is ready to look ahead while Teri and Keith provide support for the team with skill building and sharing knowledge. The season came to a close at the final Rt66 race in Hingham, MA. Thank you to all of our sponsors and the entire club!
