Date/Time: We will depart Bedford Library promptly at 9:30 AM.
Starting Location: The ride leaves from the Bedford Public Library car park (http://www.bedfordlibrary.net/).
Ride length: Usually 45-55 miles
About the Ride:
This is usually a drop and re-group ride. If you are new or unsure of the routes please advise the other riders before departure. If you’re new and wish to join the ride it is suggested that you send mail to firstname.lastname@example.org on Thursday to confirm whether the ride will occur that week. If there is no NEBC ride leader, then there will be no official club ride. Anyone who shows up is free to organize something on their own.
The ride format and route are agreed on the day, re-grouping as needed. The group is usually small so if you’re new to the route(s) please make yourself known to the regulars.
The ride takes place March through October. Rain or extreme weather generally cancels.
What to bring:
Road bikes and helmets are required for this ride. This ride is not for mountain bikes or hybrids, please remove aero bars for group riding.
Please also bring sufficient water for the conditions, the equipment necessary to repair a flat tire (a spare tube that fits your bike, a pump or CO2 cartridge, tire levers, patch kit), and anything else needed to be self-sufficient.
Non-NEBC members will be required to sign a waiver.
Please be considerate to the area and to Library visitors. Please do not make use of library facilities en-mass in bike gear and cleats.
